Topamax effects

Topamax (topiramate) is a drug taken for migraine problem, the tablet is taken as capsules with 25mg, 50mg, 100mg and 200 mg tablet. It is also used for treating epilepsy for children. The drug was originally ortho-mcneil neurologics and Noramco Inc. The drug has been useful in many cases but has also got side effects. Some affected people have filed their topamax lawsuit 2011 to sue the manufacturers. Taking the drug long term may result in some of the side effects like depression, nausea, respiratory problems. The other less common side effects are pain (i.e. chest, leg), mood changes (i.e. aggression, restlessness), rash, body odour, appetite loss and weight loss, constipation, hearing loss, and menstrual disorders. Now we will see what the side effects of Topamax on children are weight loss, anorexia, abdominal pain, tiredness, trouble concentrating, and itchy or tingling skin though these problems did not always last, children are more prone to emotional and developmental problems, and so there should be extreme caution when using Topamax. If you have a good doctor with high experience, then get consultation on this. There could be some permanent side effects too, like kidney problem. Therefore I would suggest to use the drug cautiously and with a proper consultation .
